High Testimonal Hey I was bored at the time and I wrote a few random things and it kind of got out of hand. If you add me to High5,I'll make you one if you want but it might take a while, I still got Lara and Maruan's to do and uni isn't helping me either but I'll get there in the end :D Eric Eric's a top bloke. I remember when we used to roam the green fields of Numeron slaying wild beasts as we encountered them. This brings back memories of the time we accepted the quest set forth by the King of Hornyar to bring back the head of the evil wizard Bar Telmartha from his underground lair located in the dark mountains of Detarn. Oh the endless hordes of undead that swarmed at us. I clearly remember Eric here swinging his greater ownage sword of mayhem at the decaying masses and smiting all within reach. Those were the great time my Friend. Hope to see you at the tavern soon to remember our past adventures and quests... Mel I met this fiery trooper in the rolling hills of Kalibo where I was hunting the fabled white Fernard of that area. I did not see her casual approach and almost ran over her as I was concentrating on my prey. That's when the ass whopping came from out of no where, never before had I needed to defend myself so cautiously. Quickly withdrawing to tactically assess the situation she began to circle around me, her anger was so fierce that it would have made the fires of hell proud. She apparently didn't approve of my unfriendly introduction. Never had I met such a worthy opponent that rivalled even me in cunning and insidious wit, she would be my nemesis. I used my quick elf agility to side step one of her attacks with her fingernails but I soon realised this was a fight I could not evade. Thus I drew my Blessed Mithril Elven Longsword of Master Ragnarok and prepared for her incoming attacks. And that's the story of how I met Mel.... One crazy person. Emma There I was wandering the open grassland of Emontor when I heard the most beautiful singing magically echoing through swaying fields of grass. I used my elven senses to track down the source of such wonder. From a far I spotted the glimmering tunic of a young bard who softly sung to the gods of this land. I watched in awe as her song soothed the malevolent titans beneath the mountains. Her song reached far and wide and caused men to go crazy searching for this young maiden with the blissful voice. Even more so this young bard was crazy in her own right, not in the crazy crazy but in the no-holding-back-craziness she is known for. Thus from my high vantage point I whispered to the wind, questioning Paris of Troy's choice in women. Then the mighty timeworn prophecy that called for seven signs of the coming of a new era blew into my mind. An enchanting maiden will appear and bless this world with her warmth and friendliness. I looked at her always smiling face and slowly walked away knowing great epic wars would be fought over this fair maiden but it was not of my concern, my fate was tied to forging my own kingdom from the blood of my enemies. Shannon As I passed the ragged mountain peak of Yelmondor on my way to forging my own kingdom, I first laid eyes upon the majestic township of Foilwar. I was enticed into staying the night after braving the treacherous mountain pass where I was ambushed numerous times by savage wild animals and the evil creatures of Gothor sent to end my journey. My sword the Glorified Holy Greatsword of Mighty Demon Slaying pulsated with light confirming my desire to rest. I slowly made my way down the mountainside to be greeted once again with the warming green of life. To my surprise, as I entered this simple yet busy township, I noticed the abundance of completely flat grass fields ending in strangely identical nets of some sort. I was most intrigued and puzzled by this mystery and wandered onto a nearby field to observe my first game. This is where I met the mortal named Shannon, he was a simple friendly fisherman like his father was before him and rather enjoyed a drink or two but his feverish passion was this sport. In his easy-going style, he explained the rules to me as I watched on amazed at the awesome agility of some of the players. He stated to me in ten thousand years time they'll still be playing this same game in giant grand stadiums where hundreds of thousands of people would proudly fill the stands up with the bright colours of their teams. Although this game was both exciting and entertaining I knew my destiny was at hand and still lay ahead of me with many leagues to go. So I thanked Shannon and wandered away from the hellish cheer of the field, completely overwhelmed with these unusual and fanatical hobbies. Sammie Come on, gather around children I have a story to tell of a lovely yet wild lady. I remember when I used to roam the vast plains of Duglath in search of the lost gems of Hathlana where I encountered a fellow traveller. Her name was Sam and she was wandering the vast empty plains searching for something she would not disclose and as a fellow adventurer I respected her for that. We journeyed together for sometime fighting side-by-side with her wielding her impressive dual Great shortswords of extra destruction while I drew my Blessed sword of berserking madness and fought countless foes during our trip. She was a tireless and skilful warrior never knowing true defeat. In contrast, off the battlefield her kindness and gentle personality was equal to only her battle prowess. In battle I drew from her strength to fight on when faced with overwhelming odds but while before petty nobles her gentle voice eased tensions between both sides. I can still see the group of Kotan's orcs laughing at her for wanting to fight them, which was right before they all fall at Sam's adept hands. This one's a tough fighter but also a delightful person, and that's what I admired about her. Sigh yes those were the olden days of good.... Bede The city of Blacksand was renowned for it's diversity in bars and taverns and wanting to see how low mortal men could stoop I approached cautiously. As I walk down the moonlit main street, my elven senses are at its highest, gazing at the shadows and listening for the slyest movements from the darkness. My hellish broadsword of unholy nightmares is ready at my side. Venturing into a smallish watering hole, a gloomy smoke filled establishment called "The Ahhrie" where I later learn was destined to be a lounge for veteran warriors to recall their past battles. Right now it was full of stupid mortal youngin filth drunk off their heads and gambling their life savings away. I approach the bar to see it's someone I've known for almost eternity, Here Bede the Defiant was drinking heavily at an alcoholic beverage strangely named "VeeBee". I had known Bede even from before the beginning of time, the elders had destined him to be rebellious and free-spirited. I had always seen him relishing his life to the fullest. For this, he was well loved by his peers but his actions often led him in to strife with the High Council. I clearly recall the time he journeyed into the wastelands of Vordlon to recover the Arcane Crown of Rulership for the weak men of Horth when their city was sacked by the dark forces of Weeser. The council had forbid any of our brethren to aid the men, in keeping with our tradition not to interfere with lesser beings. They were the old times, look hows it's changed. I help carry his alcohol infused body home as I fought off shady thieves' front side and centre, hoping for an easy picking. Upon looking at him closely in the wake of my destruction, his tunic seemed to state the rank of Captain but for what reason I do now know but I carry him home just like old times... Captain Bedo or the Defiant One, you have been there from the start and been a great friend. I'll probably see you at the RSL soon. Kendall In the beginning of time, the unholy evil leviathan god, Naggar roamed the world sowing death and destruction on the children of the gods, the immortal and almighty Elves. Colossal wars were waged and countless warriors fell but the pure elves drove the dark forces of Naggar back to his corrupted fortress of Mal Tranas, where the gracious elves besieged the night black walls. Sensing his defeat nearer and nearer. It was said Naggar sacrificed a thousand plump maidens upon the naked grounds of his keep. The blood of these maidens spawned forth a monstrosity even hell has not seen before. This hell spawn was named by the elders "Kongo", almost three times the width of a normal man, he was an awe-inspiring sight, for he could eat up whole villages in one swoop. At the time of the foul beast's entrance into our world, three protectors arose to tackle this fat menace. Of the three, one was named Kendall, he was blessed with true sight, and eons ago his physical vision was impaired by some say a stray piano key, others believe it was some pearl jam into the eye but that is all folklore. This legendary fable unfolded into great epic battles fought in many lands and over many years. The gallant Kendall fought awesomely and heroically against "Kongo" alongside his companions Keef and Josh. These heroes of Elfhelm held the gigantic task of banishing this vile "Kongo" forever but however when the taste of victory flowed sweet like honey, the titanic tank of a man, Josh departed us for good. Where his zeal and stupidness once contributed to "Kongo's" demise, a vast void was left in his wake. Josh's sudden departure left the infidels of "Kongo" roam freely for a brief time which lead to many Inn's and taverns being sacked to the ground, such places that were lost were popular eateries like "Maccas" and "Kay F Cee". The impure razed these fine establishments to please the behemothic hunger of "Kongo". The hopes and dreams of all good beings rest on the shoulders of these proud warriors. The wish of these guardians is for a safe and peaceful future for this entire world, free from the evils of "Kongo". One day maybe we will find ultimate peace where the fair champions of good can put up their feet and toast to a great and eventful life with friends. Jas As I paced the highlands of Kalmor at the feet of the enormous mountain range of Vlorta, a strange white shape appeared in the shimmering horizon. I strained my tired Elven eyes to make out the approaching figure. The Midday sun reflects brightly off the elegant snow white tunic this mysterious person wears. As the figure approached I readied my Ultimate tempered Rambo Bastard Sword of Total Death in fear it was the Dark assassin's of Majeor. These shadowy and skilful rogues sought my head after I defeated their insidious leader Bel Mafar when I journeyed through their unholy lands. I continued to survey the advancing shape, but by the gods the mysterious person turned out to be no other than Jas. I've been on numerous glorious adventures with this casual individual before as his company is both warming and entertaining. Although Jas was only a mere mortal, this did not stop him from having vast amounts of fun with those around him. Jas' is truly a free and kindred spirit; nothing has ever stopped him or his crowd from fighting the forces of the damned and searching for lost treasure of bygone empires. I've known him to enjoy the frequent drink of ale or brew down at "The Ahhrie" with his usual adventurous companions Brett, Tim, Andrew, Stuart and others. One particular unusual item about Jas and his fellow mortal friends is their strange fetish for kettles. On a number of adventures, Jas and his associate warriors joined forces with the Elves of Elfhelm to eliminate the dark wizard of Hermlan. Most memorable was the extortionary celebrations held on our return. For their great service to Elfhelm, Jas and his companions were given the status of Elffriend, which means him and his comrades are welcome throughout our kingdom. To Jas and Friends, Always a pleasure and an honour to get smashed with you guys. Let it continue into the future. See you guys soon... Sophie Rushing up the gentle green hills surrounding the lands of Gelmden, I gazed up at the heavens pondering what was occurring in the god's grand scheme of events. As I reached the peak of the hill, I watched in amazement at what was transpiring. To my simple eyes it seemed like a divine being bathed in a halo of light, had gently descended into our world. Her beauty was utterly overwhelming, her simple yet friendly smile brought entire kingdoms to its knees, and her soothing voice could end all grand and epic wars. Her untameable free nature would often unknowingly lead men to strife yet she was as delicate as a sandcastle in the face of a rising tide. Although many mortal men will throw themselves at her feet, many more will indefinitely cause her much anguish. But such things are inevitable and as the wise old elders of Elfhelm have once stated to us, "one must learn to forgive and to forget as the past can not be changed". But neither the less, she will not be alone to face these hardships, many shall arise in her support, people she can trust and count on, one of them is a short fiery young maiden from the North Shore of Penno as foretold in the ancient prophecies. Yet her own soothing presence could have subdued the wildest of storms let alone the turbulent titans beneath these aging lands. I gazed down at her, softly singing and dancing in the light meadow completely unafraid of our world, even from a far I could sense her extraordinary strength and determination. I knew immediately this angelic being was worthy of much more than this world could offer. I softly asked the eerie emptiness around me if I had fallen in battle and been taken to Valhalla. In that sudden, my Elven senses sprang alive and I knew danger was a lurk. I glance back to see the roaring gallop of the evil mounted men of Lessia. I take one final glimpse of this fair maiden for memory's sake as I prepare my supremely enchanted blade of uncontrollable destruction for battle and swear to the powers above that I will come to her aid in times of need at whatever costs. Her mere presence let alone takes my breath away, I can not let such power fall into the wrong hands. I mouth a silent farewell and knowing my fate lay elsewhere, I painfully turned away and hold my head high knowing at least there is some good in this world worthy of fighting for... Lee Casually strolling the beaches on the coast of Le Naga, My Elven senses alerted me to something in the vastness of the open ocean. With the sun setting as a magnificent back drop, what seemed like a mighty god with mastery over the surf was weaving in and out of the waves with almost genius precision. I stood in awe, completely taken away by the beauty of this moment, this mysterious figure is truly a champion of the seas. His silhouette against the fading sun was almost commanding. Standing before me was Lee the Casanova, another of my friends from the homelands of the Elves, Elfhelm. Lee is an interesting fellow, as I sit by a merry bonfire, I look into his almost childish face and realise time hasn't tampered with his innocence yet. I remember him clearly when his boyish charms could have single handily won over the gods, his childish yet saintly face could have emptied grand cities of all their women with just a glance. His incredible personality could have enchanted and mesmerized the entire King's court if he wished. He was a smooth devil and was often worshiped by women and imitated by men. Though his heart was as pure as a clear blue sky, many women would fall for his carefree lifestyle which often led to strife. Yet he is extremely kind and warm to be with and in comparison his untroubled life would seem strangely similar to the journeys of the wind, letting life decide his fate for him and he deeply enjoys this simple life and he wouldn't have it any other way. His lovely charms have netted him a many friends over his lifetime, some living as far south as to the lands of Penrite, others scattered throughout the lands of men to the North. As the wind gently glides birds in its own path, Lee's adventures often lead him to the best surfing and body boarding beaches this land has to offer. Although I'm not quite sure what those are, Lee explains to me it's a new hobby taking the lands by storm and its quickly growing in popularity. From the time our kin first opened our eyes to this new world, I can recall of a few hearts hurt often unknowingly because of his actions but I'm sure his heart is sincere and no ill was intended on his behalf. Lee's crazy, insane and wild mind is incomparable, and it's on a scale of its own, and this is yet another of his many charms. To say this man is a womanizer is a complete understatement, Watchout fair maidens of this world, resistance to him is futile... There have been many great years of mayhem and craziness in our wake, my dearest friend and I hope this continues until time itself ends but I doubt even then we'll have had our share of fun on offer. Enjoy life to the fullest Lee, the pleasure's been all mine :P Lara During my time as Protector of the realm, I've met a number of charming and beautiful people on my travels. Maruan I was there at the dawn of second age of Alisia
